On your marks for 10k run

THE annual Middleton Moonraker 10km run will be staged on Sunday 5 August with an 11am start in Bowlee Country Park.

The run, organised by Middleton Harriers, is part of the Central Lancashire Grand Prix - a league for 10 clubs in the region.

The event is being sponsored by Personal Best Sports of Chadderton.

The entry fees are £6 for club runners, £8 for unattached runners. Entries made on the day will cost £1 extra.

The minimum age for runners is 15, and the closing day for pre-entries is tomorrow.
