County honours for gymnasts

TWO gymnasts from Middleton represented Rochdale's Sparks Gymnastics Centre in the Greater Manchester four-piece championships held in Salford.
Shannon Meehan took first place overall in the novice under nines section.
She was second on vault, second on bars, second on floor and third on beam.
Sophie Thompson competed in the Level 2 section.
She was first on all four pieces and overall champion.
