Top clash ends with four shared

MOSTON Juniors under 13s entertained Chaddy End in a top of the table clash which ended with four goals shared.

Moston began slowly but soon found their feet and gave a strong first-half performance.

They carved out some good scoring chances, and Thompson was unlucky when he lobbed the keeper but saw his effort go agonisingly wide.

Thompson was involved in the opener. He played a perfectly weighted pass to Eppleston who was in full flow and smashed the ball home.

Moston seemed in control until a fine piece of individual skill levelled the scores just before half time.

The second half saw Chaddy End taking chances in an attempt to win the game, but Moston again carved them open and this time Thompson didn't miss.

Only 10 minutes were left when Chaddy equalised again following a goalmouth scramble.

• MIDDLETON Boys under 10s Blue have secured a place in the final of the City of Salford League's Supplementary Cup. They will play Barr Hill Aces on Saturday at the MUFC Academy ground, Ayrshire Road, Salford. Middleton have just secured new kit sponsors in Floor Form.
