Netball club wins cash grant from Awards For All

MIDDLETON Netball Club has received a £7,020 grant from Awards for All, to help encourage healthy lifestyles and promote women's sport.
The club has been established to encourage boys and girls aged between five and 18 to become active and gain high quality netball coaching.
A number of the older players recently attended an All England level one coaches' award course at Cardinal Langley School.
Club coaching sessions are held at Cardinal Langley and Siddal Moor (Heywood) on Mondays (4 to 5.30pm) for those aged six to 12, and on Thursdays (4 to 5.30pm) for those aged 12 to 18 .
League matches are played at weekends, and the club also plays in various tournaments.
There is also a senior section, with matches played at Oldham Sports Centre on Wednesday evenings.
All coaches are highly qualified and CRB checked.
The club is now working towards Club Accreditation.
