AFTER three straight defeats the Dynamos were looking to change their fortunes on Saturday when they visited league strugglers Manchester Albion. On this showing the Alkrington team will soon be joining the league strugglers themselves, as once again, they failed to find any rhythm or consistency.
The Dynamos struggled through the first half and barely created a chance, against a side with one of the worst defensive records in the league. To make matters worse, mid way through the half, they conceded a goal and at half time they found themselves 1 - 0 down.
In the second half the Dynamos did have the greater share of possession and at least their game began to show some sense of urgency. The relentless push in search of the equaliser often found them exposed at the back and Dynamos man of the match, keeper Steve Johnstone, had to be alert on a number of occasions, making several good saves to keep the deficit to just one goal.
With twenty minutes remaining Dynamos were awarded a free kick on the edge of the Albion area, Darren Hoolickin stepped up and with a well struck shot, fired the ball into the far corner of their opponents net to even the score.
