Blackley top of the table

BLACKLEY Alliance showed little mercy to the side holding up the Premier Division with a 6-1 defeat of Old David's on Sunday.
Goals from C Bennett, A Bennett, Carter and Gallagher, plus two from Meyer, ensured Donoque's strike for Old David's was scant consolation. The win put Blackley top of the table on goal difference from Radclyffe Arms.
Elsewhere in the Premier Division a Lomas hat-trick helped VASA to a comfortable 6-0 win away at St Clares.
Highest scoring game of the day came in the Second Division where Inter-Alliance beat Middleton Colts 9-7. The game saw no less than three hat-tricks, D Irving and A Irving for the winners and Lewis for Colts.
