GB champion grapples with travel costs

MIDDLETON wrestler Anthony Leach underlined his potential by winning gold in the British Novices Championship at Salford's Wrestling Academy on Sunday.
Anthony, 15, beat off his challengers to lift the crown in the 55kg category.
His ultimate aim is to compete in the 2012 Olympic Games, and he is now looking for sponsorship to help fund travel expenses to competitions around the UK.
Anthony has had to turn down the chance to compete in Ireland in a couple of weeks' time due to the costs involved, but he has a trip to Scotland coming up in the near future.
