Middleton close in on promotion

MIDDLETON beat a very powerful Nuneaton side containing nine North Midlands county players by 18pts to 14pts.

John Parry (Buersil) was man of the match at the home venue of Tonge B.C and John Irons jnr (Broadway) was man of the match at the away match at the Plough Inn, running out from 12-16 down.

Middleton's next match is against Leeds in September when a win will ensure promotion to Division One.
