BLACKLEY'S first team continued its winning ways in the Site Electrical North Manchester League with a convincing home victory over Farnworth SC.

The visitors batted first and scored 222 for seven in 45 overs.

Blackley knocked off the runs with eight overs to spare and only three wickets down.

Potts (59) and Rutter (77) featured in an opening partnership which set the pace.

Blackley's second team lost out in an exciting away game against Walshaw.

They scored 151. Walshaw thirds hit 152 for seven.

The second team entertains Westleigh Methodists' seconds on Saturday.

The first eleven is at home to Rochdale 3rd at Tweedle Hill Road on Sunday.
