ALCINDO Holder has got a new nickname in the Rochdale dressing room - Hurricane.
And it could not be more appropriate, as the big Barbadian simply blew Middleton away with a 44-ball century in the Twenty20 competition at Towncroft on Friday when Rochdale raced home with seven wickets to spare.
Holder had the spectators ducking for cover.
Fours and sixes cannoned off his bat with alarming regularity.
In all he thumped 13 fours and seven sixes before he was stumped for 107 going for the winning hit.
Middleton had no answer to the West Indian whirlwind.
Their total of 148 for six began to look skinnier by the minute.
No bowler escaped the mayhem.
Professional Arno Jacobs' 13 balls went for 20, while Valentine's four overs cost 42.
