More honours for darts team

APPLE and Pear added the Middleton Men's Thursday League knockout prize to their Division Two league and cup double when they beat Woodside WMC 4-2 in the final.
Apple had to pull out all the stops to beat Division One champions Kings by the odd leg in seven in a semi-final.
Woodside reached the big one with a 4-3 win over White Hart.
The top two teams in the Middleton Monday League, champions Apple and Pear and runners-up Joiners, clash in the team knockout final at the Gardeners Arms, Sandy Lane, on Monday, start 9pm.
The Subsiduary Cup final will also be played on Monday, at the Junction. It will feature Gardeners (Sandy Lane) and Woodman who enjoyed wins over Lancashire Fold and Old Cock respectively last Monday.
