Warriors have bad day

ABRAHAM Moss Warriors made the worst possible start in their Challenge Cup semi-final last weekend.

Big-game jitters saw the under 14s go a goal down to Gamesley in the first minute.

Moss suffered another blow when they lost their keeper due to illness.

A bad day at the office saw Warriors go down 10-0.

Warriors' under 12s continued an excellent run of form in their home match against Uppermill.

Osaymen gave Warriors an early lead and Roberts added two more before Uppermill pulled one back.

Osaymen put the game beyond Uppermill in the second half when he scored his second with a fine volley.

Moss began to stroll and allowed Uppermill to score twice.

It was tense until Osaymen completed his hat-trick to seal the points for his team.

Player of the match was stand-in keeper Ashley Irvine.

Warriors have guaranteed themselves second spot in the league.

Having completed their league commitments the team can now look forward to a Challenge Cup final and a semi-final of the League Cup.
