Currie on form as Colts reach semis

MIDDLETON Colts under 14s reached cup semi-finals with a 6-2 win over Springhead.
Tom Currie was on top form and caused havoc in the Springhead defence, but it was fine work by Matt Kosylo which resulted in the first goal for Andy Parfitt.
The Springhead keeper pulled off some fine saves before Richard Fitton claimed a 20-minute hat-trick before half time.
George Walker knocked over some fine crosses in the second half and Sam Vines tapped in from one of them.
The final goal was a Danny Burgoyne special from 20-yard.
Tom Currie was named as the Car Shop player of the match.
