Fitton is star man

MIDDLETON Colts under 14s maintained their 100 per cent record for the season with an easy 10-1 win over Pearsons.
The teams were well matched in the first half.
Colts opened the scoring through Andy Parfitt, but Pearsons were quick to reply.
Colts' keeper Matthew Stott made some fine saves which were rewarded just before half time when Tom Currie scored with a volley.
Colts changed their team round for the second half. Leading scorer Richard Fitton sprung into life to bag the third, Pearsons' heads dropped, and further goals came from Fitton (3), Sam Vines (2), Matthew Kosylo and Liam Mott (penalty).
The Carshop player of the match was Richard Fitton.
