MIDDLETON Boys under 11s continued their superb start to the season with a 14-1 win over Salford Boys.
They top the City of Salford League after seven straight wins.
Middleton under 16s took on Heyside in the Manchester Youth League.
They found it hard going but a sensational individual goal came from Darrel Johnson who went round three players before striking home the opener.
Even with a weakened squad Middleton were too strong for Heyside and further goals from Ashford Blake, Lee Herbert and Ryan Clewerth put them in control.
Middleton finished worthy 4-2 winners.
Middleton under 9s Blue beat Moorside Red to stay top of the league.
The under 12s shared four goals with De La Salle. Ryan and Dominic Murphy were the scorers.
