Cruise control for Middleton

MIDDLETON earned a comfortable victory over Oldham at the weekend.
Having posted a total of 210, Middleton ensured the visitors never got close, T Read and J Punchard both claiming three wickets apiece as Oldham were dismissed for just 83 runs.
S Fernando top-scored for Middleton with 62 and he was ably assisted by S Kumara (57) and T Read (37 not out) as the home side won by 127 runs.
The second team also enjoyed a comfortable win over their Oldham counterparts, dismissing them for 67 runs and knocking off the required total without losing a wicket.
