ABACUS Media celebrated a remarkable season with a presentation event at The Bower Hotel in Chadderton.

As well as receiving the FA Charter Standard for adult clubs they won the Lancashire and Cheshire League's Division One title by a massive 19 points, plus the prestigious SE Woolam Aggregate Cup.

Club winners for the season were:

First Team

Players' player of the year - Mark Stott.

Golden boot - Nicky Bracken (33 goals).

Jack Rees Memorial Shield (manager's player of the year) - Nick Harrison.

Second Team

Players' player of the year - Martin Byrne.

Top scorer (silver boot) - Liam Sweeney (22 goals).

Manager's player of the year - Neil Jones.

Clubman of the year - Mike Campbell.

Merit awards - Steve Smith and Mike Barlow.
