KINGS won the Division One Knockout Cup in the Middleton Ladies League when they beat Royal Oak in the final.

Abigail Hardiker (Kings) added the Captains' Cup to her individual title when she beat Jolly Carter's Michelle Edmonds.

Royal Oak's Linda Maher picked up the vice-captains' title by beating Mary Lahan of Woodside B.

The Division Two team knockout title went to Oddfellows who beat Hebers WMC in the final.

Oddfellows' vice-captain Janet Smith beat Brunswick's Joan Brennan to win the VC's prize, while the Captains' Cup went to White Hart's Joan Bickerdike who beat Paula Flynn of the Brunswick.

The top four teams in the Middleton Men's League all won last week.

Leaders Kings Arms beat White Hart 6-1 to make the title a near certainty, while Boarshaw WMC won 5-2 at Oddfellows.

Woodside WMC leapfrogged over Boarshaw into second place, but only by half a point, following their 6-1 win over Oddfellows B.

Joiners stayed fourth by beating Pleasant 4.5-2.5.

Pleasant turned the tables by winning the Gallon contest.
