ABACUS Media seconds travelled to Whitefield to take on Old Standians and continued their excellent end of season form with a sixth consecutive win.

Standians took the lead after 10 minutes when they capitalised on a defensive error.

Both sides played open attacking football but clear cut chances were at a premium.

Abacus were given a lifeline early in the second half when a Standians' defender handled in the area and top scorer Liam Sweeney made no mistake from the spot.

Media pressed for the winner and deservedly got their noses in front 10 minutes from time when man-of-the-match Mike Campbell pounced on a loose ball to slot home.
