MIDDLETON Juniors under 10s clinched successive titles in the Bowlee Mini League when they beat North Manchester 2-0.

A close game was goal-less in the first period.

Middleton stepped up the challenge in the second period and began to take control. They created good chances and twice hit the woodwork.

The final period brought the goals.

The championship squad was Adam Davies, Andy Mitchell, Callum Harkin, Danny Allatt, Danny Ashworth, Danny Smith, Dylan Walker, Harrison Jones, Jake Coe, Jordan Morris, Matthew Harris, Reece Evitt-Healy, Reece Reynolds, Will Travis.

Juniors under nines beat Pearsons by the odd goal in nine.

The win gave them second place in the table.

The squad was Aaron Cox, Ben Murphy, Ben Worrall, Connor Wilson, Lewis Diaper, Lewis Walker-Service, Liam Duplex, Luke Heavens, Macauley Rowe-Archer, Michael, Robbie Wynn, Sam Whittall.
