Reilly leads team charge for second

MIDDLETON Harriers were among the prizewinners in last weekend's Radcliffe 10k trail race.

John Reilly was first in the male 55 category. He finished 11th overall in a field of 229.

Other awards went to: Paul Collinge (third in male 50), Kyrinda Hurst-Moore (second in female 40), Kim Molyneaux (first in female 50), Chris Brooks (third in female 50), Derek Bury (first in male 65), Julie Jones (third in female 45), Margaret Cartledge (second in female 55), Christine Eckersley (third in female 55).

Middleton's men's team of John Reilly, Mick Flatley and Malcolm Bostock claimed second team prize.

The ladies' team of Julie Kennedy, Kyrinda Hurst-Moore and Christine Stanhope also took a second team award.
