MAY day came early for Old David when they dished out a 6-2 beating to Old Cock Inn in a Car Shop Middleton League Division One match on Sunday.

May claimed three of the goals for David whose other scorers were Tierney, Bowles and Smedley. Vayro and Price hit consolation strikes for Old Cock.

Ellis, Hoolican, F Cannon and J Cannon were on the mark for Crown Inn who beat Black Bull 4-2.

Tranter and Fields netted for Railway, but their goals were far from enough against Hebers who banged in five.

Division Two leaders Blackley Rangers extended their unbeaten run with a 4-2 win over Hebers Wincanton. The goals came from Grimshaw, D Roache, Wood and Rigby.

Edwards, Owen and Hutton hit the net as Red Barn beat The Charlestown 4-1.

The one Premier Division match reported saw Radclyffe Arms and Alliance share two goals. An own goal cancelled out Gaskill's strike for Radclyffe.
