Soccer schools prove a big hit

ROCHDALE AFC Football in the Community has been busy with soccer coaching courses at Littleborough Community School, St Mary's Primary School (Middleton) and Spotland.

More than 220 boys and girls attended the three venues and all of the participants received certificates of attendance, progress reports, and goodies from the club.

The award winners were:

Most improved attenders: Rebecca Ashwell, Dylan Andrew, Olivia Dean. Star performers: Sam Fitzgerald, Joe McHale, Jordan Smith. Skills competition winners: Callum Harkin, Wesley Turner, Allie Jones. Personalities of the week: Mark Fadeyibi, Liam Grey, Bradley Amos.

  • THE awards were donated by McDonalds.
