Jack makes it beastly for Beechfield

MIDDLETON Boys under sevens coasted to a 6-1 win over Beechfield Tornados.

Two goals from Allie Jones and one each from Jack Beastly, Cameron Philips, and Ellis Lees saw Middleton go in 5-0 up at half time.

Beechfield settled in the second half and a solitary goal from Jacob Berry was Middleton's only reward. Beechfield scored a consolation from the penalty spot.

Jack Beastly was player-of-the-match for Middleton.

Middleton under nines beat Roach Dynamos 3-1.

A goal from George Shaw, and two from Ben Durant were enough to give Middleton the points. Player-of-the-match was Scott Howarth.

Boys under 13s beat AFC Stanley 4-2. Howells and Parfitt shared the goals.

Middleton's defence of Shaun Cannon, Kieran McCarthy, Callum Jackson and Eddie Hughes came under early pressure and they fell behind.

This woke Middleton up and they hit back. Hoolikan fed Vinny Howells who turned and hit a left-foot shot into the top of the net.

Middleton's midfield started to dominate, with Milne, Hoolikan, Parfitt and Conway playing particularly well.

They took the lead when Shaun Cannon played a ball to Howells who beat the keeper from 18 yards.

Stanley equalised before Howells found Andy Parfitt who spotted the goalkeeper off his line and chipped him.

Player-of-the-match Parfitt later rounded the keeper to knock in the fourth and wrap the game up for Middleton.
