Boys lose star players to Academy teams

MIDDLETON Boys lost two of their best players this week.
Thomas Douglas, who was in the under 11s squad, signed for Manchester City Academy after impressing Blues during a six-week trial.
Jamie Lee Hesketh, who was in the under 13s team, has moved to Macclesfield Town on a two-year deal.
The club's under 11s manager Dave Nuttall said: "Thomas will be a great loss to us. He has been in the team for more than two years and has been a superb asset. We wish both lads good luck for the future."
