LANGLEY Celtic continue to set the pace at the top of the Middleton Sunday League's Premier Division.

Last weekend they made it three wins on the bounce by slamming St Clares 9-1.

Tudor and Neville both bagged hat-tricks. The other scorers were Hall, Beattie and Hughes.

Bloomfield hit the consolation for Clares.

Radclyffe Arms held on to second spot with a 2-0 home win over Oddfellows, but they have played more games than their rivals.

Crowther and Giblin were the men on target for Radclyffe.

Clarkin and Howard found the net to give Langley Rangers a 2-1 home win over Royal British Legion for whom O'Grady was on the mark.

Rangers now have seven points from three games and have the edge in the table on Alliance who were held to a 3-3 draw by Carters Rhodes.

Hampson bagged all three for Alliance. Hall (2) and Ramplin struck for Carters who have yet to win in the league but have drawn three of their four games to date.

Blackley Alliance, leaders of Division One, chalked up their fifth win of the campaign.

Gibbons (4), A Bennett and C Bennett netted in a comfortable 6-2 home win over Royal Oak whose scorers were Connor and Wilkinson.

Cardinal Villa topped the scoring in Division One with their 7-2 away success against Black Bull.

Goals from Hall (2), Ellis and Gill saw Crown Inn to a 4-2 win over Old David. May notched both for the losers.

Six games and 43 goals is the score for Division Two leaders Blackley Rangers who hammered Lamb Inn 11-1.

Dunleavey (2), Murdoch and Brady bagged the goals as FC Radclyffe beat Hebers Wincanton 4-1. Miller was on the mark for Hebers.
