LOCAL martial arts club DEMAA has enjoyed a fantastic run of success.

Richard Sidwell, aged 15, has won several Mugendo Kickboxing fights and recently lost on a split decision in a fight for the English national belt, in Birmingham.

He is an FSK champion as is Robert Sidwell.

Jayne Richardson, aged 38, has attained green belt level in Mugendo Kickboxing and Matthew Richardson, 12, has reached orange belt level.

David Booth, 28, is now a third degree black belt (3rd Dan) in Ju Jitsu, David Clayton, 44, is a first degree black belt (1st Dan), Richard Sidwell is a second degree black belt (2nd Dan) and Robert Sidwell is a second degree black belt (2nd Dan).

Kieran Hughes, aged 11, is a first degree black belt (first dan). He won the Academy's student of the year award for both 2003 and 2004.

Master Dave Terry moved up to fifth degree black belt (5th Dan).
