STEVE Barrow of the Railway and Linnet (Middleton Junction) won the Failsworth Premier Log-End League's individual title last week by beating Anthony Hornby from the Washbrook Tavern (Chadderton) 2-1 in the final.
The Middleton Ladies League's Captains' Cup champion is Royal Oak skipper Pat Holt following her 3-2 victory in last week's final over Angela Noon from Oddfellows. The Vice-Captains' contest went to Ann Cosgrove (Old David) who beat Millbeck B's Ann Ward 3-2.
Joiners took advantage of Victoria not having a match in the Middleton Monday Men's League to leapfrog them to the top of the table by beating Lancashire Fold 6-4.
Victoria are three points behind Joiners, with Woodman a further point away in third place. They beat Junction 5-3 last week.
Four players share the lead in the least-darts stakes. Paul Graham (Joiners), Steve O'Brien (Archer), Steve Radcliffe (Cotton Tree) and Keith Wright (Junction) have all struck 14-dart legs of round-the-board.
Leaders Woodside won 5-2 at Victoria and stay ahead of Kings Arms in the Middleton Thursday League. Kings beat Oddfellows B 7-0 with the help of a 16-darter from John Wellens.
Mark Clewarth also went round the board in 16 darts, but his Wilton side lost by the odd game in seven to Boarshaw Workingmen's Club.
