New line for coach Terry

BOXING trainer Terry Hernon has followed in the footsteps of promoter Jack Doughty and become an author.
Doughty produced books about Rochdale boxing legend Jock McAvoy and the Rochdale Hangman.
But Hernon's book is fiction, although some of his inspirational writings are probably loosely based on his career in boxing and his time in the RAF.
Hernon was trainer to many of the best boxers seen in Rochdale in recent years. He was involved with Hamer ABC, Fox ABC, and the Rochdale Pro Gym.
While with Fox he helped Joey Jacobs to a Commonwealth Games medal in Edinburgh.
He is now based in south Wales.
His book "Lythgoe" (Crystal Serenades Publications Ltd - £10.99) is hard-hitting to say the least. Lythgoe seems to be the bad boy of boxing and public enemy number one but ends up a hero.
