Albert go goal crazy to end the year

PRINCE Albert rounded off their year by handing out an eight-goal thrashing to Lamb Inn in the BASSA League.
Danny Smith claimed four of the goals. Man of the match Tom Macklin bagged two. The other scorers were Joe Mellon and Craig Mundy.
Radclyffe Arms struggled to convert their persistent pressure into goals and at half time they were only one up against Ostrich by way of a Colin Havelin strike.
Chris Lee netted from the penalty spot early in the second half and further goals came from Havelin and Mike McElvaney. Ostrich failed to get off the mark.
Priory remain top of the table after beating Nelson 4-2.
Blackley Rangers became the second team to reach the Lowther Shield semi-finals with a 4-1 win over Thatched House.
