Cadwell test

MOTORSPORT: BRITISH Supersport team Triumph ValMoto has completed a successful weekend of testing at Cadwell Park.
The team put the Triumph ValMoto Daytona 600 through its paces and completed some vital fine-tuning ahead of the official test at Donington Park.
Team manager Jack Valentine said: "I am very pleased. Both riders made excellent progress again." Riders Craig Jones and Jim Moodie are also pleased with the progress so far and are looking forward to the start of the season at Silverstone on 30 March.
Jones said: "The weekend was very good and I'm really happy with the bike. I managed to put together some consistent laps and some good times. Cadwell is a hard track to set up for, so if we can get it right there we can get it right anywhere."
Jim Moodie is equally optimistic. He said: "The bike is very good. There were quite a few superbikes there and we were able to get right in behind them on the corners and stay with them for quite some time. That was impressive."
Jack Valentine was previously head of the V and M Racing team based at Slattocks.
