Moonrakers get home Wood Cup draw

CLL CRICKET: MIDDLETON will be at home in the first round of next summer's knockout competition.

The first round of the Wood Cup will be played on 1 June, and the full draw is:

Middleton v Walsden

Stand v Rochdale

Milnrow v Littleborough

Heywood v Ashton

Werneth v Oldham

Royton v Unsworth

Norden v Radcliffe

Bye - Crompton

The draw was made by Mr William Lees-Jones of J W Lees Brewers who will be sponsoring the competition for the 20th season.

The second round will be played on 22 June, and the draw is:

Match one: Werneth or Oldham v Royton or Unsworth.

Match two: Stand or Rochdale v Milnrow or Littleborough.

Match three: Middleton or Walsden v Crompton.

Match four: Heywood or Ashton v Norden or Radcliffe.

The semi-finals will be on 6 July when the matches will be:

Winners of second round match two v winners of match one.

Winners of match three v winners of match four.

The final will be on 3 August.

Lowerhouse v Crompton, Unsworth v Ramsbottom, Burnley v Milnrow, Rochdale v Church, Haslingden v Norden, Littleborough v Rawtenstall, Accrington v Royton, Stand v Enfield, Nelson v Werneth, Heywood v Todmorden, Rishton v Walsden, Radlciffe v Colne, Bacup v Ashton.
