FOOTBALL:MOSTON Juniors under 8s beat Moston Brook A 2-1 in a Manchester Minis League match.

It was Brook's first defeat of the season. Juniors broke the deadlock, and with Brook pushing forward in search of an equaliser they scored a second.

Daniel Allatt pulled one back for Brook, but for all their hard work Brook couldn't grab an equaliser. Lewis Hughes, Joe Knott, and James Robbinson played well for Brook, but their player of the match was Rayn Jennings.

  • BROOK under 9s beat Club 2000 3-0. Brook made a slow start, went into half-time goal-less, and got a ticking off. They showed a lot more fight in the second half, and Jennings met a cross from Mathew Woodall to score with an excellent header. Jonathan Foggerty made it 2-0 after taking on a couple of defenders, and Ryan Cobain made it 3-0 with his first goal for his new team. Player of the match was Dale Jennings, for his consistency throughout.
