Colts celebrate successful season

MIDDLETON Colts Junior Football Club staged a presentation evening to honour the youngsters for another successful season.

More than 300 people attended the event at Middleton Civic Hall. Trophies were awarded to players from the under 10s through to under 17s.

Dignitaries including Middleton councillors Robin Parker, Donna Martin, and Peter Williams. Trophies were handed out by club chairman Nigel Hampson and secretary Derek Lever.

Mr Lever said: "We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and all the retailers who gave gift vouchers to support the raffle and aid further fund-raising."
