Help wanted for junior bowls team

BOWLS: ONE of the recently formed bowls teams competing in the Rochdale Junior League is in danger of folding, and another team could be in danger unless someone comes forward to help the lads.

The teams are both based at Middleton Tech. League chairman Eddie Melvin said: "It looks almost certain that we will lose one of the Middleton teams, but it would be a crying shame to lose them both. The league has been formed to promote junior bowls. The lads are dead keen, but they need someone to help them out, especially on match days."
