Harriers tackle distance run

MIDDLETON Harriers had 46 runners in the Wilmslow half marathon which was the first of their club championship races for this year.
There was a quality field of more than 3,000, and the course record was broken with a time of 1 hour 2 minutes 57 seconds.
The first Middleton runner to cross the finish line was Paul Blackshaw. He was 37th in 1 hour 13 minutes 41 seconds.
