Youngsters' chance to bowl 'em over

ENTRIES are invited from teams for a junior bowls league which will start in Rochdale this coming season.

The upper age limit for players is 16 (school year 11). Both boys and girls can register for teams.

League fixtures will start in May.

A number of taster days will be held for youngsters who wish to try the game out.

The sessions will be run by qualified coaches. They will be between 11am and 1pm at:

Norden Bowling Club (6 April), Ladybarn Bowling Club, Milnrow (13 April), Queens Park, Heywood (20 April), Buersil Park (27 April), Littleborough Park (4 May), Birches (11 May).
