AIDAN Collins, a member of the Lymm-based speedway dynasty, is standing by to follow father Les and brothers Peter and Neil into the Belle Vue team.
Aidan, 24 on Friday, will make his debut in the Elite League match against Swindon at Kirkmanshulme Lane on Wednesday (7.45) if Phil Morris is unfit.
The Welshman suffered an injury to his right foot during the 54-39 win over Wolverhampton on Good Friday and is waiting for a further X-ray to determine the extent of the trouble.
It is feared that Morris broke a bone in a freak accident after he had won heat two but he will have to wait for the swelling to go down before a true assessment can be made.
The Fonestyle UK Aces are already stretched with James Wright who is away for the British Under-21 final at King's Lynn.
Tom P Madsen, struggling with a back injury, will move up into Wright's No 4 slot with winter signing Tommy Allen coming in for his debut. Collins, who rides for Premier League Workington, will partner Allen in the reserve berths if Morris cannot race.
Team boss Ian Thomas said: "Morris can put some weight on his foot, which he couldn't when he was injured, but we'll have to wait for the result of the second X-ray before naming the team."
The Aces are also looking to a bigger return from Kenneth Bjerre who flew in from Denmark for the Wolverhampton match and scored only three points.
Thomas added: "Kenneth blew his best engine on the line in his first race and couldn't find the drive he wanted on his second motor. But the rest of the top boys were in cracking form."
BELLE VUE: K Bjerre, J Screen, S Stead, T P Madsen, J Crump, P Morris or A Collins, T Allen.
SWINDON: L Richardson, R Gafurov, T Korneliussen, S Ulamek, L Adams, A Miedzinski, S Alden.

Another great result against Wolverhampton. Only downside was the state of the track. Note to newcomers in the crowd, this was not a speedway 'racing' meeting instead more a speedway 'gating' event. A big disappointment compared to past matches.
