Sisters shine in top contest

SISTERS Elizabeth and Latisha Terry excelled when they competed in the recent world martial arts championships in Ireland.

The Middleton girls, who train at the Deema Academy which is run by their father Terry, both won medals when competing for Great Britain.

Elizabeth’s bronze came in grappling.

Latisha won silver in kick-jitsu and bronze in grappling.

The GB team won 56 medals in all.
