Steve hits 16-darter

STEVE Round hit a 16-darter in helping Friendship to whitewash Middleton Junction 7-0 in the Middleton Men’s Thursday Darts League.

Two players went one better. Billy Keenan put in a 15-darter as Cotton Tree beat Woodside WMC 5-2, and Joe Platt did likewise in Boarshaw’s 4-3 defeat by Higher Blackley Con Club.

John Wellens claimed a 180 in Friendship's gallon success against Junction.

Closest match of the week saw Middleton Con Club and Oddfellows finish on three and a half each.
