Teams set for Lake test

THE Rochdale Observer Team Angling contest will be held at Hollingworth Lake on Saturday 27 September.

As usual there will be trophies for the winning team, individual winner, and team with the highest aggregate weight.

The draw will be made on the visitors’ centre car park at 7am, and the match will run from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

The entry fee for a team of four is £30. All entries must be paid in cash to Les Barlow at the Observer offices. Entries will also be accepted at Rochdale Angling Centre.

All entry fees will be paid out in prize money.

Closing date for entries will be Monday 22 September. No entries will be accepted after lunchtime that date.

Pools on the day will be optional.

Teams must be from bona fide clubs within the circulation area of the Rochdale Observer, Middleton Guardian or Heywood Advertiser, or have waters within those areas.

Composite teams will be allowed to enter providing team members belong to a recognised angling club.

Substitutes will be allowed on the day.

To enter fill in the form in this week's Guardian and present it with the correct entry fee.
