Karate duo make the grade

ASHLEY Dawson, 9, and eight-year-old Nathan Chan, members of the Dojo Karate Club, have achieved the highest rank in the martial art - a black belt.
The pair, who regularly compete in junior karate competitions, were among nine others at the club who were awarded the honour.
Ashley's dad Andrew said: "I'm very proud of her. She trains really hard, including going to a session at the Long Street Methodist Church every week.
"The Dojo is a very successful club, last year they had the youngest black belt in the country - a lad who was five years-old."
