Gymnast Theo Seager

Theo among the best in Europe

MIDDLETON Gymnast Theo Seager, 17, who is a member of Bury Gymnastics Club, represented Great Britain in the Junior European Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland, last week.
He finished fifth in the junior vault final behind winner Jordan Mathieu of France. GB won the overall team title.
Theo, who lives in Rhodes, is a student at Hopwood Hall College.
Throughout his gymnastics career he has had great success at both regional and national level, and in last year’s British Championships he became the British Masters vault champion. He also won medals on high bar, rings and vault.
Coach Paul Hockwart said: "Theo has worked so hard throughout his gymnastics career, and this has paid off with his selection for the championships."
