Wall is player of match as Boys make it six in a row

MIDDLETON boys under nines made it six straight wins at the weekend with a comfortable 5-2 home success over Deans Panthers.
Boys were soon in front with a goal from Harry Cottrill who netted with a powerful shot across the face and into the bottom far corner of the net.
Connor Wall made it 2-0 soon after, and Nathan Lees added a third just before the break to take his tally to 21 goals for the season.
Middleton went 4-0 up early in the second half through goal-machine Will Shawcross.
Deans were much stronger in the second half and deservedly pulled two goals back after Middleton had eased off,
Connor Wall then claimed his second to make it 5-2, and he was later named player of the match for his ever improving performances.
Other good performances came from Callum Bailey, Callum Connor and Jack Fallon in defence. Jordan Rigg made two good saves.
