DARTS: BLACK Bull beat Woodside WMC to become the only Middleton-based team in the semi-finals of the Middleton Men’s Thursday League knockout.
The Rochdale Road outfit are joined by three teams from Blackley.
Grove beat Boarshaw WMC, Higher Blackley Con Club defeated Middleton Con Club, and Charlestown got the better of Duke of Wellington.
Jolly Carter dented the double hopes of Middleton Ladies’ League Division One champions Friendship when they beat them by the odd game in seven in the divisional knockout final.
Carters Arms and Brunswick, who finished joint third, fought out a close division two final. Brunswick won 4-3.
