Best-ever medal haul

GYMNASTS at a Langley based sports club are celebrating one of their biggest ever medal hauls.
Members of the Middleton Gymnastics Club, based on Bowness Road, collected almost 60 medals after two intensive weekends of competition in floor and vault championships held in Salford and Bolton.
Head coach Glenn Prendegast paid tribute to those involved and said: "I would say we were one of the top performing clubs in the competition.
"We were there more than 12 hours every day of competition, and I have to pay tribute to all the youngsters who worked so hard and their coaches who worked to prepare them."
Over the two weekends the club netted 21 gold, 19 silver and 15 bronze medals
