Victory for Blue boys

MIDDLETON Boys under 11s Blue have completed a fantastic double by winning the City of Salford League under 11s championship and Challenge Cup.
They beat rivals Barr Hill Aces 4-1 in their final game to clinch the top spot.
Middleton under 11s Red finished runners-up.
The cup final, against Moorside Rangers Red, was played at Manchester United`s Littleton Road academy ground.
Middleton were on top form, and goals from Arron Goldman (2) and Kane Andrews (1) were enough to clinch the cup.
Moorside got a consolation goal, but it was player of the match Jamie Wellens who lifted the trophy.
