Captain Chloe’s last match with the lads

CHLOE Ainsworth played her final game for Pearson Juniors last weekend, not because she wanted to, but because having reached the end of the under 11s season down at Bowlee she is now deemed too old to play on the same team as boys.
Chloe has been with Pearson Juniors since she was six-years-old. She was captain oif the under eights team which won the league undefeated, and went on to play at under nines and under 10s level.
She joined Rochdale Ladies FC three years ago, and is currently captain of the under 12s, but she continued to play with the Pearson's mixed team down at Bowlee on Sunday mornings.
Her final game couldn’t have been more fitting as she led the team, as captain for the day, to a 4-3 victory over Wardleworth, scoring a great goal in the process.
