Bracken back with a brace

ABACUS Media hosted South Manchester in a Lancashire and Cheshire League match at a cold and wet Bowlee.
Media, who had injury problems, recalled Gary Holden and Andy Durcan to the side and were boosted by the return from injury of Nicky Bracken.
The first half saw very little by the way of action, South going closest when a cross-cum shot was tipped onto the bar by Martin Byrne.
The second half was totally different and saw Abacus go ahead early when Nick Sullivan lashed a left-foot shot into a bottom corner.
Media made it two 10 minutes later when a poor goalkick saw Nicky Bracken latch onto the ball and fire it back past the keeper.
Bracken made it three with 15 minutes left when he volleyed home a good ball from Nick Sullivan.
He almost completed a hat-trick, but a similar volley came back off the far post with the keeper beaten.
Martin Byrne saved a South penalty awarded for handball, but he could do nothing when a Manchester striker went clean through to claim a consolation goal.
