Vick stars in victory

MIDDLETON Boys under 10s ran out 3-0 winners over New Deans.
On a tiny pitch they were comfortable throughout.
The goals came from Jacub Brabinar, Machos Karpetis and Declan Ritchie.
Darren Vick gave a faultless display and was named as player of the match.
Middleton’s Red team travelled to play table-toppers Moorside Red and came away with the points.
Moorside took a first-minute lead, but from then on Middleton went from strength to strength.
Goals from Jake Downie and Thomas Nuttall (2) put Middleton firmly in the driving seat.
Moorside pulled one back during a rally, but Middleton soon regained the upper hand, both Cameron Phillips and Jake Downie hitting the woodwork.
Player of the match was Thomas Nuttall for his class display in midfield.
